Added reason for foreign investors to leave India
The Indian economy is the second best performing country in the world, and the monsoon failure in the last two months was a key reason for many Foreign institutional investors to pull out their investments slowly.
Now the Swine Flu is spreading fast, and that could potentially become a more powerful reason for these foreign investors to move out immediately and at full speed.
The country cannot afford losing foreign investors at this stage, since the government is running on huge fiscal deficit, and that could widen further if the foreign investors move out.
