General Motors is expecting to file for bankruptcy in the coming days, with the full support of the US government, paving the way for another attempt for a great comeback. The General Motors is expected to work out a major concession from the major creditors which could save it billions of dollars.
The company is also in serious discussion with the workers union for reducing the employee related costs for the company.
GM is already in informal talks with interested parties for sale of few of the brands like Hummer , which might help it to generate much needed cash, while disposing off gas guzzling products.
