Once upon a time there were two friends, Tom and Mark who joined for work with a wood trader. Their job was to cut wood every day, and in the first week , both of them produced comparable results.
But as time passes, Tom was seeing his output going up, while Mark was seeing his output slowly coming down. And the wood trader found out that both were continuing to use the same type of axe to cut the wood.
The wood trader became more curious and was very sure that there is something which Tom is doing, that is not being followed by Mark.
So the next day, he started tracking Tom from behind, and he found that after using the Axe for one hour, Tom was sharpening the Axe for five minutes. Thus he was able to ensure sharpness in his Axe every time.
Similarly, you need to work on honing up your skills by educating yourself in relevant areas, on a continuous basis. Only continuous learning can help you perform better and earn more consistently.
So if you are not moving up in your life or business, look deep into yourselves, and do not escape out of the problem by blaming everybody around you.
