There has been a four fold increase in the Swine Flu infections in Australia alone in the last one week, which has really worried the World Health Organization.
The steep increase has pushed Australia as the largest Swine Flu infected country outside North America.
Swine Flu infections have also been reported from all other parts of the world, including India, China and other Asian countries. WHO raised the alert level for Swine Flu to level 5 last month.
Now it is seriously considering to declare Swine Flu as a Pandemic, which would call for global efforts on a war footing.
If declared a pandemic, Swine Flu will become the first Pandemic in the last four decades.
