Tiger farms are being banned across many countries
Many south Asian countries should ban the privately run tiger farms. The tiger farms are very inhuman and fuel demanding. There is a huge demand for the tiger’s bones and skin around the world. The World Bank said 13 countries met to discuss about the conservation of tigers in Thailand.
The world also discussed the way of increasing the big cat’s numbers. The tiger farm owners believe that rearing the tiger in their farms help to reduce the illegal parts. The tiger parts are used in many traditional medicines all around the world.
The environmentalists feel that the farm will further boost the smuggling of tiger. The farm would spur the demand for tiger parts illegally. The global tiger initiative claims to double the tiger number by 2022 which involves 40 conservations. Tigers are lost because of the human encroachment. Tiger farms are found mainly in china, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand.
