Foreign firms ask workers to bark like dogs
The employees of a Shenzhen based firm were asked to bark like dog at their monthly meetings. The dispute has created a strike over the pay and conditions against the company. The name of the company is Chloride Phoenixtec Electronics company which is in the Guangdong province.
There are twenty six employees who have appealed to the city’s labor arbitration authority. The employees have demanded the company to compensate them for the insults and unfair dismissal of seven employees. The former general manager Z hang Hongyi is the one who asked the workers to bark like dogs. The act of barking like dogs which is humiliated the employees in front of their co workers has filed an application against the company.
The ex manager Zhang said that he forgot whether he asked the employees to bark like dogs. Zhang even said that even if he had said that it would be a joke but that must have been exaggerated by few employees. The new Italian general manager who took over Zhang recently Pugi Gianluca the company will not fire the former general manager. The labor disputes are always high in China especially in the south China province amid the labor shortage. Oh God !
