Huawei attention is now on India
Last week after the premier Wen Jiabao’s visit the telecommunication giant Huawei has turned towards India. The Chinese Huawei has announced around $2 billion investment in India for the next five years. The investment in India by Huawei shows the hidden potential which exists in the telecoms sector. For a past decade the presence of Huwai can be known in India and now it is giving a clear picture for its competitors.
The Chinese multinational company Huawei had confined itself to research and development (R&D)inside Shanghai hub. But operations of HUawei is global for the first time Huawei has announced the increase of focus in India by enhancing its R&D capacities. Huawei is aware of the Indian software engineers and needs India to be the manufacturing hub for exports. The Indian telecoms market will boom in the presence of Huawei and Huawei will launch 3Gmobile services.
The launch of services will even include 3G services along with hi-speed wireless broadband and expand itself. The capabilities of R&D in Huawei will be mostly in Bangalore center and the production plant is upcoming in Chennai. A recent research by Crisil pointed out the launch of 3G services network deployment by the operators and fiber network. The CEO of Huawei India Max Yang the R&D campus in Bangalore and the equipment manufacturing facility will be in Sri Perumbadur in Chennai.
