All around the world the Scots celebrated the the birthday of National bard which was on Tuesday. The birthday was celebrated when a unpublished letter was discovered and was written by Robert Burns. A museum has been dedicated to Robert Burns and is a new poet Laurette reported the Reuters reports from Edinburgh. Ahead of the festivities Robert Burns birthday was marked on January 25,1795 as Scotland honors the Laurette. Robert Burns has been one of the 21st century literary star and has appointed Liz Lochhead as new makar.

Robert has appointed him as his own star Liz Lochhead as his new Makar which is actually poet laureate. A distinguished poet and playwright Lochhead is aged about 63 years and the first one to succeed Makar. The best Makar or poet laureate is Edwin Morgan and had his last breath during last year and is one of a good poet.Lochhead said on behalf of poetry as it has been a core of the culture itself and hence it is a recognition of poetry itself.

Lochhead first official duty was to open up a museum for Robert Burns at Alloway which is his home town. Robert Burns was born in an humble farming cottage situated in Alloway and the new museum is worth $33.59 million. Robert Burns is being dedicated to Bard and had died at the age of 37 years in the year 1796 and one day became a great poet. Robert Burns was a scottish poet filled with enlightenment,wit,humor,melancholy love for life along with his radical views.
