Who is new IMF chief
The international Monetary Fund has at present appointed Christine Lagarde as the new managing director as on Tuesday. The chief Christine Largarde is former French Finance minister and now working for IMF as the managing director after the Dominique Strauss Kahn. Just a few days in the month of may before the previous managing director Strauss Kahn quit due to certain sexual assault.
Lagarde will be serving the post of the managing director for the period of five years and is committed to do more of her share. The previously joined managing director had left IMF for various reasons and was left their job early according to IMF. The former managing director could not lead the key crisis lender and the three directors were Europeans released an IMF statement. The IMF statement released the the terms of the appointment which has been given to the Director and the amount and the compensation got.
A pay of $467,940 has been offered to Largarde as an annual salary net on all taxes including an allowance of $83,760. The scale of salary is living appropriate to the position of the managing director and her terms of appointment is required. The terms even specify Christine Largarde to observe the standards of ethical conduct and some consistent following values of integrity,impartiality and discretion. However some of the contracts which were having such terms were not being signed in contract with some of the predecessor’s in the year 2007.
