The fierce battle for the Operating Software market has started in a big way, with internet technology leader Google, entering the market with Chrome.
So far happy with the dominant role in the Operating Software market, Microsoft is not ready to take the Google threat easily. It is taking lot of steps to retain customers and also ensure that new customers buy only the Windows software instead of Chrome.
Also it has already accepted its defeat in the first round through its unexpected marriage with Yahoo, on an internet search project. What is surprising is the fact that Microsoft rejected the same deal with Yahoo only four months back, and nothing has changed on the ground really, except the entry of Google into the Operating Software market.
