Swine Flu infects 8000 people
When Swine Flu hit few hundred people in Mexico, around end of March 2009, the World Health Organization swung into action, and it started tracking the Virus and the infection levels closely.
Within few weeks, Mexico reported death of over 30 people due to the infection and it also added another 400 infected people to the list.
And as per latest WHO update, there are over 8000 people across the globe, from over 21 countries ,who have been affected by the Swine Flu. WHO is also concerned that the virus could spread much faster in the coming days, and hence raised the alert level to 5, and requested all the governments to take precautionary steps.
