Third party in UK holds the first place in latest polls
The election race which is just a few weeks ahead showed the British liberal democrats in first place. British Liberal Democrats is UK’s third largest party showed the ratings soar. The election is expected to take place during May 6 and fresh polls on Sunday showed these ratings. A strong performance which is being performed by the Democrats leader Nick Clegg helped the support. The Thursday debate on election by Britain’s party leaders on television surged further more support.
BPIX poll was reported in the Mail newspaper showed Lib Dems up 12% over the past week to 32%.The Conservatives down seven at 31% and Labour down three at 28% the Sunday Mail reported .BPIX conducted a survey among 2,149 people during Saturday and Friday to the new poll. The electoral system could see the PM Gordon Brown in the pole position despite his third position in the popular vote. The figures will still put Labour on the 276 seats reported BCC seat calculator and 50 short of majority .BBC’s seat calculator reported Conservatives on226 and Lib Dems on 119 further.

The founder of pollesters MORI said that the election has been static up to now but now it’s electric. The Democrats were in sideshow but after the Thursday debate they are in centre stage. A major fight is now faced by the opposition Conservatives to stop the crucial floating voters.
